The Trim pagedevice feature determines when the document is trimmed.
Trimming can be done after booklet making or glue binding. Set /Trim to 2 or 3 to specify trimming.
Trim size is specified in the TrimDetails dictionary. The size of the trim is specified as the target size. The target size is the size of the finished book after folding and trimming.
/TrimDetails contains:
The width specifies the length of the horizontal edge when the book is held in the correct reading orientation. The two cuts perpendicular to the binding edge are made such that the resulting book is centred on the sheets. For details see the two tables below. Width and height are specified in PostScript points. The values must be positive and within the allowed range of the trimmer.
