A white layer is printed automatically to isolate the elevation from the color layer.

Ink Only (double sided)
|
|
-
The ink-only prints are printed on a liner that is removed after printing.
-
The Backside layer option is provided for double-sided, ink-only prints. The layer for the Backside must be flipped.
-
When a backside layer is defined, two print jobs are sent to the printer. First, the backside and four white layers are printed on a liner. Next, the elevation and color layers are printed on top. Once the printing is complete, the liner is removed, leaving only the ink layers.
-
The option is available for Alto and for Alto plus.
