Introduction

The easy-to-use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator plugin allows flawless 3D design of elevated print projects without any complex training necessary.

You can choose between Alto, for opaque elevated UV curable ink effects up to 1 mm, Alto-Plus, for opaque elevated UV curable ink effects up to 4 mm, and Brila, for color with varnish elevation up to 0,25 mm.

Options

Alto (default)

  • Elevation up to 1 mm

  • Elevation is built up with CMYK (+ white for CMYKWW configurations, + varnish for CMYKWV configurations).

    The use of varnish can help to reduce surface tension.

  • A white layer is printed automatically to isolate the elevation from the color layer.

  • A Varnish Overcoat can be printed as a protective layer or to optimize the color of the image. See Print an elevated job for more information.

Alto-white

  • Elevation up to 1 mm

  • Elevation is built up with white ink (+ varnish, when available).

    The use of varnish can help to reduce surface tension.

  • A Varnish Overcoat can be printed as a protective layer or to optimize the color of the image.

Alto-Plus (default)

  • Elevation up to 4 mm

  • Elevation is built up with CMYK (+ white for CMYKWW configurations, + varnish for CMYKWV configurations).

    The use of varnish can help to reduce surface tension.

  • A white layer is printed automatically to isolate the elevation from the color layer.

  • A Varnish Overcoat can be printed as a protective layer or to optimize the color of the image.

Alto-Plus (Mold)

  • Elevation up to 4 mm

  • Elevation is built up with CMYK + white for CMYKWW configurations, + varnish for CMYKWV configurations.

    The use of varnish can help to reduce surface tension.

  • No color layer is printed.

  • A Varnish Overcoat can be printed as a protective layer.

Brila

  • No undercoat

  • White undercoat

  • Elevation up to 0,25 mm

  • Varnish is printed on top of the color layer

  • A white undercoat can be printed to isolate the media color or to add the color white to the design.

    The white data must be present as separate Layer/ Group in the print file.
