Print a [Stickers] application

Introduction

With the [Stickers] recipe you can print multiple stickers on the media.

Procedure

  1. Open PRISMAguide XL Engine via the shortcut on your desktop or start menu.
  2. Click on [New job]
  3. Select the [Stickers] recipe.
  4. The [Overview] tab opens.

    Check / select the settings for:

    • [Printer]

    • [Media]

    • [Print mode]

  5. Click on [Select file].
  6. Open a PDF that you want to print using the [Stickers] recipe.
    NOTE

    The PDF must contain one page with a [kisscut] layer, where a cutting path is defined.

  7. Open the [Layers] tab and check the settings.

    The recipe automatically assigns the settings per layer.

    The [Stickers] recipe contains one layer, printed on the front side of the media.

    The image is printed in CMYK.

  8. Select the [Cut] tab.

    The [Stickers] recipe has two cut paths defined:

    • A [kisscut] path, defined in the PDF, to cut only through a part of the media.

    • The [CropBox] is defined as [throughcut] path.

  9. Select the [Media layout] tab.

    The option [Step and repeat] is checked. The number of copies is set to 50. The [Alignment] is set to [Center].

    Check and confirm the settings, by clicking the button [Confirm settings].

  10. Open the [Print] tab and check the settings.
  11. Click on the [Print] button to submit the job.
  12. Launch the ONYX Thrive RIP Queue.
