The PRISMAguide XL software is an ONYX Thrive Add-on that supports in producing a broad range of high-value applications by combining the capabilities of Arizona printers, roll to roll printers (Colorado) and, optionally, ProCut cutters.
PRISMAguide XL consists of two main software components that assist you to design and print high-value applications.
The design part of PRISMAguide XL is called PRISMAguide XL Extensions.
The production part of PRISMAguide XL is called PRISMAguide XL Engine.
This guide describes the PRISMAguide XL Engine.

This information is written for production staff.
The PRISMAguide XL Engine is an ONYX Thrive Add-on, but can also be opened via a shortcut on your desktop or Start menu.
NOTE
For the PRISMAguide XL Engine to work properly, ONYX Thrive 22 (or higher) must be installed. When you install ONYX Thrive afterwards, the button for PRISMAguide XL will not become available in ONYX Thrive.
After installation of the PRISMAguide XL Engine an icon is added to the tool bar in the ONYX Thrive RIP-Queue. The icon gives access to the PRISMAguide XL Engine user interface and enables the production staff to do the following:
Automatically create productions recipes (RIP jobs and instructions, registration, print and cut instructions) needed to produce the applications designed with the PRISMAguide XL Extensions.
Define and reuse application recipes that specify the entire production setup for a wide range of print products.
The PRISMAguide XL Engine can be used to create new applications from standard PDF files. When used in combination with the PRISMAguide XL Extensions, the PRISMAguide XL Engine can be used to create new applications based on recipes defined within PDF files created with the PRISMAguide XL Extensions. When opening these PDF files in the PRISMAguide XL Engine software, the recipes are recognized.
