Convert PDF TrueType fonts as Type42

Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Preferences]  → [PDF] . See setting [Convert PDF TrueType fonts as Type42].

• [Convert PDF TrueType fonts as Type42] = Enabled

  Single-byte TrueType fonts embedded in PDF files are converted into Type42 PostScript fonts. A conversion to Type42 fonts provides the best print quality.

  Setting [Convert PDF TrueType fonts as Type42] is enabled by default.

• [Convert PDF TrueType fonts as Type42] = Disabled

  Faulty TrueType font hinting in some fonts can be solved. For example: Monotype BookAntiqua-BoldItalic.
