Print applications using a PRISMAguide XL PDF

Introduction

Via the PRISMAguide XL Extensions plugins for Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator you can create a print-ready PDF with an embedded recipe.

When you export your design to a PRISMAguide XL PDF, the corresponding recipe is stored in the PDF. When you open the PRISMAguide XL PDF in PRISMAguide XL Engine, the software automatically recognizes the recipe.

Before you begin

Create a PDF using a recipe in PRISMAguide XL Extensions. For more information PRISMAguide XL Extensions Help.

Procedure

  1. Launch the ONYX Thrive RIP Queue.
  2. Select the PRISMAguide XL PDF and click on [PRISMAguide].
  3. You can see that PRISMAguide XL Engine automatically recognizes the built-in recipe.
  4. Click on the [Print] button.
