When a maintenance operation is scheduled, the [Administrators] will receive a mail notification stating the exact date and time of the planned operation. The notification will be sent again 24 hours in advance. One minute before the actual start of the operation, all logged-on users will receive a pop-up message stating they will be logged out.
When PRISMA Home maintenance mode is prepared, you will see a series of visual clues on the user interface:
The main PRISMA Home dashboard has the date and time of the operation mentioned below the title bar.

While PRISMA Home is maintained, you will not be able to access any of the applications.

While a particular application is scheduled for maintenance, you will not be able to access it. The rest of the available applications, and PRISMA Home itself, can be used in the regular way.
One minute before starting the maintenance operation, a pop-up message is displayed to all the logged-on users.

The message is closed, and you will be logged off when the minute expires.
