The print system uses a central media catalogue from where you can select media for jobs. The media catalogue can be managed with the Settings Editor. When media management via the control panel is enabled, you can also manage the media catalogue on the control panel.
Media management on the control panelGo to the control panel and touch: .
Use the search button (1) to filter media with a specific size, type, weight, or name.
Touch one of the media attributes (2) to change the order of the media in the media catalogue.
Use the following options to manage the media catalogue:
[Optimise] (3): to start a media family calibration or perform media adjustments.
[Edit] (4): to change the name, size, type or media family of the media
[Delete] (5): to remove media that is no longer needed.
[To catalogue] (6): to add temporary media to the media catalogue.
[Validate] (7): to start a colour validation test.
[New] (8): to add new media to the media catalogue.
[Copy] (9): to add new media, based on existing media.
