Install the PRISMAelevate XL ALPS Engine

Before you begin

  1. Log in to your computer as an administrator.

  2. Make sure the correct installation program for the PRISMAelevate XL ALPS Engine is available on your computer (e.g. "PRISMAelevateXLALPSEngine.exe").

  3. Insert the PRISMAelevate XL ALPS Engine hardware key in a USB slot of your computer.

  4. Close all your applications, because your computer might restart during the installation.

This instruction applies when you use Windows 10 (64 bits only).

Procedure

  1. Double-click on PRISMAelevateXLALPSEngine.exe.
  2. Select your language and click on [OK].
  3. Click on [Next].
  4. Accept the License agreement and click on [Next].
  5. If necessary change the proposed destination path and click on [Next].
  6. If necessary, change the proposed data storage path and the port number.

    The port number must be between 9100 and 9200, and should not be used by another application.

    Remember the port number, because you need this number when you install the PRISMAelevate XL Driver for Onyx Thrive.

    Click on [Next].

    NOTE

    It is possible to change the port number after the installation process is complete.

  7. Click on [Next].
  8. Click on [Install].
  9. The software will now be installed on your computer.
  10. After the installation you must activate the license before you can use the PRISMAelevate XL ALPS Engine. For more information about the license activation procedure click on the link in the window below.

    Click on [Finish].

    Open PRISMAelevate XL ALPS Engine via the shortcut on your desktop or start menu.

    To learn about the functionalities of the PRISMAelevate XL user interface open the online help via the menu button.
