What are special pages

Special pages are banner pages, trainer pages, job tickets, separator sheets and covers. You can define the default media of special pages.

It is also possible to import or export the media definitions of special pages.

Export the definitions of special pages

You can export an XML file with the current media definitions of the special pages. This XML file can be imported into another printer.

  1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Media]  → [Media].

  2. Click [Export].

  3. Click [Media of special pages].

  4. Click [Export].

  5. Save the file: mediausage.xml.

Import the definitions of special pages

You can import an XML file with the media definitions of special pages of another printer.

  1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Media]  → [Media].

  2. Click [Import].

    [Media catalog] menu
  3. Browse to the XML file: mediausage.xml

  4. Click [Media of special pages].

  5. Select how to import the media definitions of special pages.

    • [Merge]: merge the media definitions of the XML file to the PRISMAsync media definitions.

    • [Replace]: replace the PRISMAsync media definitions with the media definitions of the XML file.

  6. Click [Import].
