PRISMAsync Print Server can use the HTTPS protocol to secure the communication with the following applications and services.
PRISMAsync Remote Manager.
Settings Editor.
Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) service.
Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) service.
Go to:
.Go to the [Identity certificate] options.
Use the [Valid for HTTPS] option to check if the Identify certificate is valid for HTTPS.
When the Identity certificate is not valid for HTTPS create a new Identity certificate.
Go to:
.Go to the [HTTP / HTTPS] options.
Use the [Settings Editor, PRISMAsync Remote Manager, IPP, and WebDAV] option to indicate if you enable HTTPS connections.
Select [Traffic only via HTTPS] when you only enable HTTPS connections.
Select [Traffic via HTTP or HTTPS] when you also enable HTTP when HTTPS is not possible.
You can also enable or disable HTTPS on the control panel.
Use the [Use of less strong cipher suites] option to accept weak cipher suites.
It is preferred to use strong cipher suites. However, to support older browsers and HTTPS clients, you can also accept weaker or obsolete cipher suites.
Use the [Minimal version of TLS protocol] option to define the TLS protocol version.
It is preferred to use a recent version of the TLS protocol. However, to support older browsers or HTTPS clients, you can also accept the use of older versions. The selected version refers to the oldest version PRISMAsync Print Server still accepts. All newer versions are automatically accepted.
Use the [HTTP port] and [HTTPS port] options if you want to change the default port numbers.
Do not use these ports for other communication protocols.
