Load cut sheet media

Introduction

Next to media rolls you can also load cut sheet media in the cut sheet tray.

IMPORTANT

When you load new media when the drawer is not entirely empty, remove all remaining media from the drawer first. Avoid the risk of shifting media out of place and creating a media jam.

Procedure

  1. Pull to open the cut sheet tray.
  2. Squeeze the green release handle on the media guide on the right side of the tray.
  3. Move the media guide to the right media size, indicated on the tray.

    Make sure that the handle is properly aligned with the right media size.

  4. Fan the media.
  5. Place the media in the tray against the front plate. The side to be printed should be facing downwards.
    NOTE

    You can check if the material is properly loaded by looking through the view holes in the tray.

  6. Slide the two other guides towards the media.
  7. Close the drawer.
