Check the status of the RIP unit

The PRISMAsync Print Server consists of a main controller, two standard RIP units and optional two additional RIP units. The RIP units are responsible for raster image processing.

When one or more RIP units do not communicate with the main controller, the orange RIP symbol appears in the warning area of the dashboard.

The dashboard shows if RIP units do not communicate with the main controller.

You can hide the warning of the RIP unit that is not responding.

1. Touch [System]  → [Controller] .

2. Check which RIP unit is not responding.

   	RIP unit is not responding.
   	RIP unit is responding.

3. Touch [Hide].
