Refresh dots and lines are used to keep the nozzles open and clean.
Refresh dots are nearly invisible on media and therefore suitable for applications that are not trimmed after printing.
Refresh lines consist of four colors (CMYK) that are printed on the leading edge of a sheet. When a sheet is printed on both sides, the refresh lines are printed on both sides. For sheets that are printed on only one side, the refresh lines are printed on the print side.
This is a good option for full bleed applications where the refresh lines are trimmed after printing.

You can use refresh lines and NAC markers simultaneously. Refresh lines are printed on the leading edge, while NAC markers are printed on the trailing edge.
The print margin on the edges of the sheet is 2 mm (0.08 inch).
Refresh lines require 3 mm (0.1 inch) of space.
Each NAC marker requires approximately 5 mm (0.2 inch) of space.
