Devices management

Introduction

The PRISMAlytics Accounting application allows you to manage the list of devices that is important for your accounting purposes.

The [Devices] overview shows the table with all the available devices and their relevant information.

You can manage the group membership for the devices from the [Device groups] entry in the [Configuration].

Note that you cannot add or delete devices from this application.

NOTE

When you create a new device group, keep in mind that only the new data coming into the system gets processed.

Remember to always force a data synchronisation whenever creating a new group or changing group membership for the devices!

Data present in your tenant's database when you create the groups is not processed.

[Friendly Name]

Name of the device.

[Serial]

Serial number of the device.

[Name]

Name of the device.

[IP]

Network address of the device.

[Printer]

Model of the device.

[Print server]

Name of the print server running on the device.

[Version]

Version number for the print server running on the device.

Device group ID

Device group identifier.

[Device group name]

The name of the devices group containing the device.

[Location]

Physical location of the device.
