Maintain printheads

About this task

To solve specific print quality issues, as described in the chapter Troubleshooting.

On the user panel tap on [System].
Tap on [Maintenance].
Tap on [Maintain printheads] to start the wizard.
Tap on [Next].
Select the printhead(s) and tap on [Next].
IMPORTANT
Standing in front of the printer, position 0 is the outer left position and position 4 is the outer right position.
Select the level and tap on [Start].
NOTE
The requested maintenance level is indicated in the script to solve a specific print quality issue
The maintenance procedure takes a few minutes. The user panel displays a message when the printhead maintenance is finished. Tap on [Finish] to close the wizard.
