Deleting a tenant

Introduction

The [List of tenants] panels offers access to operations performed on tenants.

Deleting a tenant does not have an immediate effect. The tenant receives a special status, "marked for deletion". This operation is reversible for a certain period of time.

NOTE

This operation is restricted to top-level members of the organization (HQ and RSHQ).

Once marked, certain restrictions are imposed on all users belonging to this tenant:

  1. Users with a role other than "[Administrator] " are not allowed to log in.

  2. The Administrators cannot create new user or customer accounts for the tenant.

NOTE

Users with the role "[Administrator] " in that tenant will receive an email notification informing them of this operation.

Illustration

Procedure:

  1. Navigate to the [Tenants]  → [List of tenants].

  2. Select the tenant you want to delete.

    NOTE

    This operation is only available for "[Active] " entries in the list.

  3. Press the button.

  4. Press [OK].

After you finish:

After the tenant is deleted, the cloud space is kept for a certain period of time, to allow the administrator to recover all the content of the cloud storage.
