Define the general transaction printing settings

This topic contains the following instructions.

1. Go tot the transaction printing settings

2. Switch the Printer Control Language (PDL) in Settings Editor

3. Change the general transaction printing settings

Go to the general transaction printing settings

1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Transaction printing]  → [Settings] .

Switch the Printer Control Language (PDL) in Settings Editor

1. View the current PDL is displayed in the [Active PDL] field.

   NOTE

   You can only change the PDL if the printer is licensed for two transaction printing protocols.

   

2. Click [Bring transaction printing online or offline] to put transaction printing offline.

3. Use the [Requested PDL] option to change the protocol.

   

4. Click [Bring transaction printing online or offline] to put transaction printing is online.

5. The new PDL is displayed in the [Active PDL] field.

   

6. Click [OK].

Change the general transaction printing settings

1. Use the [Remote diagnostics protocol] option to enable the remote diagnostics protocol.

2. Use the [IPDS port] option to set the IPDS port, if applicable.

3. Use the [PCL port] option to set the PCL port, if applicable.

4. You can import or export SRA configuration files on request of your Service organisation.

   Click [Import] or [Export] in the [Configuration file (zip)] fields.

   IMPORTANT

   Only use these options on request of your Service organisation. Otherwise, you can damage the printer.
