The printer can be delivered with an attention light on top of the printer.
This attention light gives feedback on the status of the printer, like the status light on the user panel does.
A green light indicates that the printer is scanning or printing.
A green blinking light indicates that the printer is in a transition state (start-up, shut-down, going to sleep, waking up, updating/installing)
An orange light indicates a non-blocking error. For example if the printer is almost out of toner or the printer is about to pause.
An orange blinking light indicates that a controller update/installation is at an advanced stage.
A red light indicates that an error occurred or the print queue is paused.
When the light is off the system is ready or shutdown.
More detailed information about the status of the printer is displayed on the ClearConnect user panel.
NOTE
The attention light does not require any configuration and can be connected while the engine is running (no reboot required).
