Heidelberg Prinect-specific extensions

This paragraph describes the extensions for Prinect of the generic JMF communication. Prinect is the prepress workflow of Heidelberg.

Prinect activates specific extensions on PRISMAsync Print Server

  • Syntax

    XPath: /JMF/@[<namespace>:]AgentName

    Supported values

    If the value of @AgentName starts with "Heidelberg Prinect DPM" or "CDMService", the Prinect-specific extensions will be activated on the PRISMAsync Print Server. Other values for @AgentName are ignored.

    The namespace of AgentName is optional. All values are supported for the namespace of @AgentName.

    Example

    /JMF/@Heidelberg:AgentName, /JMF/@AgentName, etc.

    Supported value

    If the value of @SenderID starts with "CDMService" or "Prinect", the Prinect-specific extensions will be activated on the PRISMAsync Print Server. Other values for @SenderID are ignored.

Description

Heidelberg Prinect can activate the specific extensions for Prinect on PRISMAsync Print Server by sending @AgentName and/or @SenderID. The values of @AgentName and @SenderID are not case sensitive.

PRISMAsync Print Server sends the media orientation to Prinect

Prinect uses this attribute internally.

This attribute is ignored when it is used in the JDF ticket.
