Replace a chapter with a new chapter from Microsoft Word

NOTE

Microsoft Office 2010, or higher, is required.

  1. In the [Structure] view, in the [Section] column, click on the bar in front of 'Chapter 2 Print settings'.

  2. The pages of the chapter are selected, including the tab sheet.

  3. Exclude the tab sheet from the selection with the 'Ctrl'-key.

  4. The pages, in the range of 9-26, are selected. From the menu, select [Edit]  → [Replace pages...].

    The [Replace pages] dialogue opens. Browse to EUR_PP_AdminManual_Chapter2Rev_A4.docx and click [OK].

  5. The old chapter is replaced by the new one, including the page programming. The new chapter is automatically converted to PDF:

    NOTE

    Page 9 is still programmed as 1-sided.

    NOTE

    Instead of replace, you can also add extra chapters using option [Insert pages].
