It is important that the printer is calibrated daily. The orange printer calibration indicator on the dashboard helps to remind you when printer calibration is required:

As part of the procedure the system will print calibration charts. For an automatic measurement of these charts the printer uses the internal scanner or the optional sensing unit.
IMPORTANT
You are strongly advised to perform the printer calibration daily.
The printer calibration settingsPrepare calibration media according to the calibration media specifications.
First, print a job of about 100 sheets to ensure that the printer is warmed up.
Load the calibration media.
Touch the calibration indicator on the dashboard or go to .
If required, touch [Select printer calibration procedures] to check which calibration procedures are configured.
Touch [Start printer calibration].
Follow the instructions on the control panel.
