[Automatic rotation behaviour]

Introduction

Depending on the configured printer model, you can set the [Automatic rotation behaviour] to optimise the print productivity of the printer. This feature is used to define the default behaviour of the [Rotation] setting when its value is set to [Automatic].

Procedure

  1. Click on [Preferences] in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on the required printer name.
  3. Set the [Automatic rotation behaviour] under the [Filters] section:

    Setting

    Action

    [Productive]

    Optimises the productivity. Data orientation can be automatically modified to ensure the fastest printout delivery.

    [Media saving]

    Data orientation can be automatically modified according to the drawing surface, for a minimum use of paper.

  4. Click [OK] to save your settings.
