The Text command set contains the Presentation Text Object Content Architecture (PTOCA) control sequences used to present text information. The text information can be used in a page, a page segment or an overlay.
The Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series support the subset PT4. The subset PT4 includes the subsets PT1, PT2 and PT3.
If a text related exception or a text control sequence code exception occurs, the behaviour of the printer is controlled by the Text Fidelity. See "Presentation Fidelity Control" of the Device Control command.

These commands are used to form and print composite glyphs. A composite glyph is made up of several components. The user can select and position these components in order to form the complex character. A simple example would be to combine the letter A and the character to form an Å, the symbol for 10−10 metres. The real importance of Glyph Runs, however, is for some central Asian languages, such as Arabic and Indian languages. |
