Configure the email server

You can email proof PDF files to a customer directly.

  1. Click [Herramientas] - [PDF de prueba] - [Servidor de correo electrónico...] to configure the email server.

  2. [Tipo de servidor de correo electrónico]

    • [Microsoft Outlook]

      Select this option to use the Microsoft Outlook account of the currently logged in user. PRISMAprepare and Microsoft Outlook must be installed on the same computer.

    • [Servidor SMTP]

      Select this option to use an SMTP server account to send proof PDF files. You need to also fill in the [Configuración del servidor SMTP].

  3. [Configuración del servidor SMTP]

    • [Nombre de servidor]

      Enter the DNS name or IP address of the SMTP server.

    • [Número de puerto]

      Enter the port number for the connection to the SMTP server.

    • [Desde]

      Enter the user name of the account on the SMTP server.

    • [Contraseña]

      Enter the password of the account on the SMTP server.

  4. Click OK.
