The preview view is a WYSIWYG preview that shows all settings that affect the appearance of your document.
You can use a number of tools in the preview panel view (for both [Production] and [Application] modes).

Zoom selection |
Select the zoom factor in any of the [Production] or [Application] panel.  NOTE
The zoom factor is only relevant for the preview on screen and does not influence the printed output. Select [Fit page size] to instruct the application to adjust the zoom factor in such a way that a whole page or sheet is shown. Or, select the desired percentage. NOTE
Use the Ctrl/command key and the mouse wheel to switch between the numerical percentage levels if using a mouse, or use the pinch-zoom gesture on a touch device. |

Toggle visibility of the rulers and the crosshair cursor. |

Toggle visibility of the actual page content. |
