Manage the licence

The licenses are based on a MAC address of the computer where the Floating Licence Server (FLS) is installed. A MAC address is the unique identifier of a network adapter. A computer may have multiple network adapters, both physical and virtual (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VPN, VMplayer, …).

Add or update the licence file

The FLS can contain multiple licence files, for example, one licence file for PRISMAprepare and one licence file for PRISMAdirect.

When you receive a new licence file, do:

  1. Click [Edit].

  2. When you want to update a licence file, you have to remove the current licence file first.

    1. Select the licence file and click [Remove].

    2. Click [Yes].

      The licence file is removed.

  3. Click [Add] .

  4. Browse to the new licence file.

  5. Select the file and click [Open].
