What is DocBox

DocBox is short for Document Box. One or more DocBox folders are available on the control panel and Remote Manager.

The DocBox is a job destination to collect jobs before printing. DocBox folders make it easy to group jobs according to a job owner or a department.

There is one factory defined DocBox folder: [Public].

This folder is not secured by a PIN.

When to use the DocBox

Users can use the DocBox in the following situations.

  • Secure jobs by storing jobs in a private location that is protected with a PIN.

  • Collect jobs that belong to a department or a user.

  • Collect jobs that require adjustments in the same way.

  • Combine scanned documents with print documents.

  • Store jobs that are printed on regular base.

DocBox folders

When a DocBox folder is secured by a PIN, operators need to enter this PIN before they can access the DocBox folder.
