Set the overprint setting for PDF

Introduction

The [Overprint] for PDF setting defines how the color tints of an object are merged when they overlap with another object. When enabled, the overprint setting improves the way the overlapping colors are rendered. When disabled, the colors will be rendered in the same order as they were defined: the overlapping colors will always come on top of the previously rendered colors.

Procedure

  1. Open the [Preferences] - [Print job defaults] tab.
  2. Click [Edit] in the [PDF - General] section, or click on the [Overprint] setting.
  3. Enable or disable. The setting is enabled when you check the box.
  4. Click [Ok] to confirm, or [Cancel] to reject your entry.
