Set the overprint setting for PDF

Introduction

The [Overprint] for PDF setting defines how the colour tints of an object are merged when they overlap with another object. When enabled, the overprint setting improves the way the overlapping colours are rendered. When disabled, the colours will be rendered in the same order as they were defined: the overlapping colours will always come on top of the previously rendered colours.

Procedure

  1. Open the [Preferences] - [Print job defaults] tab.
  2. Click [Edit] in the [PDF - General] section, or click on the [Overprint] setting.
  3. Enable or disable. The setting is enabled when you check the box.
  4. Click [Ok] to confirm, or [Cancel] to reject your entry.
