Print a [Block out sticker] application

Introduction

With the [Block out sticker] recipe you can create a window sticker with text readable on both sides.

In the example below, the PDF contains the following information in a single layer.

  • The color image.

Procedure

  1. Open PRISMAguide XL Engine via the shortcut on your desktop or start menu.
  2. Click on [New job]
  3. Select the [Block out sticker] recipe.
  4. The [Overview] tab opens.

    Check / select the settings for:

    • [Printer]

    • [Media]

    • [Print mode]

  5. Click on [Select file].
  6. Open a PDF that you want to print using the [Block out sticker] recipe.
  7. Open the [Layers] tab.

    The recipe automatically assigns the settings per layer. Check the settings and adjust if necessary.

    The [Block out sticker] recipe contains 5 layers, printed on one side of the media.

    *) Quality-Density W only is used instead of Quality in order to jet a larger amount of white in a single pass.

  8. When you see a warning or a waiting message in the 'Print' section, open the [Print] tab and define the correct settings.
  9. Click on the [Print] button.
