Open the scanned file and start to clean up

In this exercise, you open the scanned PDF file and start the cleaning function.

1. Open the file Scanned_file.pdf.

2. In the left pane, select the [Pages] workspace.

3. Click the [Clean-up] button. The [Clean-up] dialogue opens when the scanned document is analysed.

   NOTE

   All functions of the [Pages] workspace are available, like selecting pages or zoom in, while the [Clean-up] dialogue is still open. You might need to move the [Clean-up] dialogue to view and reach all the buttons.

   NOTE

   In the [Structure] view, the pages of the file now display a different icon, to indicate that these pages contain rasterised images.
