About the users

This information is written for RIP operators.

The Touchstone ALPS Engine supports the RIP operator in printing elevated artworks.

The software transforms the processed jobs, received from the Touchstone Driver for Onyx, into a set of print files for the Arizona printer.

When you install the Touchstone ALPS Engine, a separate user interface is automatically installed on your system. Via this user interface the RIP operator can do the following:

  • Display the [Job queue] to get an overview of the status of all the jobs that are currently being handled by the Touchstone ALPS Engine.

  • Display the [History of events].

  • Delete or resume print jobs.
